Frequently Ask Questions

It is a triple-eccentric butterfly valve with metal-to-metal seating, designed for high-temperature, high-pressure and severe-service applications.
Alis Valves manufactures and supplies Triple Offset Metal Seated Butterfly Valves for oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, power generation, chemical, steam, hot oil, cement, steel, flue gas and other severe-service industrial applications.
The valve uses two eccentric shaft/disc offsets and a third offset in the conical sealing geometry. This produces a cam-like seating action and minimizes rubbing between the disc and seat.
A double-offset valve uses two eccentric offsets to reduce seat friction. A triple-offset valve adds a third offset to the sealing geometry, creating a non-rubbing, cam-like seating action.
