Alis Valves offers high-efficiency Y Type Globe Valves designed to minimize pressure drop while maintaining excellent flow control. The Y-pattern body allows a smoother flow path compared to standard globe valves, making it ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. These valves are widely used in steam lines, power plants, and process industries where energy efficiency and reduced flow resistance are critical.

Frequently Ask Questions

A Y Type Globe Valve is a globe valve with a Y-pattern body and angled stem/seat arrangement. The design provides a more direct flow path than a conventional globe valve, making it suitable for flow regulation and throttling with reduced pressure loss.
These terms can sometimes overlap, but they describe different geometry: Y Type: Stem/seat is inclined relative to the main flow path, creating a Y-pattern. Angle Type: Inlet and outlet are generally arranged at approximately 90° to each other. A Y-pattern valve is primarily intended to improve the flow path, while an angle globe valve can also serve as a 90° flow-direction change.
Its primary advantage is a more streamlined flow path, which can reduce pressure loss and provide higher flow capacity compared with conventional globe-valve designs.
Alis Valves is a Y Type Globe Valve manufacturer and supplier in India, providing industrial valve solutions for steam, oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, water and process industries. The Y-pattern design is particularly suitable for applications requiring high flow capacity, reduced pressure loss and reliable flow regulation.
