Cement
Engineered valve solutions tailored for critical Cement operating processes.
Alis Valves is a trusted Lug Type Double Offset Butterfly Valve Manufacturer & Supplier in India, offering high-performance butterfly valves for medium to high-pressure industrial applications. Designed with a heavy-duty lug body and double offset disc geometry, these valves provide reduced seat wear, low operating torque, reliable shut-off, and extended service life for oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, water treatment, chemical processing, marine, and industrial process applications.
ALIS Valves offers Lug Type Double Offset Butterfly Valves for industrial applications requiring reliable flow isolation, efficient operation and dependable sealing performance. These valves feature a double-offset design in which the shaft is positioned away from the disc centre and the sealing axis, helping reduce friction between the disc and seat during opening and closing. This arrangement minimizes seat wear compared with conventional concentric butterfly valves and supports smoother operation over repeated cycles. The lug-style body incorporates threaded lugs around the valve body, allowing secure bolting to compatible pipeline flanges. Depending on the valve design, the seating arrangement can use suitable resilient or other sealing materials to meet the required pressure, temperature and process conditions. Manual, pneumatic and electric actuation options may be available for different operational and automation requirements.
Lug Type Double Offset Butterfly Valves are used in water treatment plants, wastewater systems, oil and gas facilities, chemical processing units, power generation plants and general industrial pipeline networks. Depending on the selected materials, seat configuration and pressure rating, they can be specified for compatible liquids, gases and other process media within their rated operating limits. Important selection factors include valve size, pressure class, operating temperature, flange compatibility, process media, body and disc materials, seat design, required leakage performance and operating torque. The lug-style connection may facilitate maintenance and downstream piping removal when the valve is specifically rated for the intended installation, including end-of-line service where required. For automated applications, actuator sizing and control system compatibility should also be evaluated. Selecting the appropriate valve configuration helps support dependable shut-off, reduced seat wear and reliable performance under the intended operating conditions.
